Teresa D. McKelvy is a Doctoral Student at Central Michigan University studying Health Administration. She is a University of Illinois Urbana Champaign graduate with a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Lewis University in Romeoville. She’s a loving wife and a mother of two wonderful boys.

 

Currently, Teresa is a full-time student and a consultant, lending her expertise to companies in the establishment of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation clinics. Her recent role as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Refresh Mental Health saw her managing four distinct behavioral health entities, each with 30 clinics spread across 12 states. In this capacity, Teresa oversaw all aspects of daily operations, from marketing to profit & loss, budgeting, human resources, auditing, and the implementation of EHR systems and other technologies. Her leadership was also instrumental in the successful rollout and go-to-market strategies for new projects. 

 

Teresa previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for Mindful TMS Neurocare Centers. She successfully opened six clinics in two years, and five were complete buildouts. Teresa was second in command and profitably managed TMS clinics with over 20 direct reports. Some of her direct reports are the Physicians, Head of Finance, Marketing Manager, Sales Professionals, Billing Manager, and Clinic Managers. She is responsible for the operational performance of each clinic, goal setting, and creating the budget for each market. She also made the standard operating procedures for the clinics in India.

 

She is the former President of the Board of Education for Proviso Township High Schools District 209. She managed a $120M budget for three schools and was essential in negotiating collective bargaining agreements. She also served as the Vice President for Sherman Worldwide and the Business Manager for the Cook County Board of Commissioners 1st District.

 

Teresa's reputation precedes her. She is known for her reliability, hard work, and resourcefulness. But what truly sets her apart is her knack for creating strategic alliances. This unique skill of hers has been instrumental in making numerous projects successful.
