I'm Samantha Richards, originally from the UP, and I now live in Midland, MI. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from Northern Michigan University in 2020 and went on to complete my Master of Public Health at Saginaw Valley State University in 2022, focusing on environmental health and wastewater surveillance.

 

Currently, I work as an Environmental Laboratory Analyst specializing in indoor air quality particulates and oversee the Asbestos Department. In addition to my experience in clinical and behavioral health, I love spending my free time camping in the UP, visiting family, reading, biking, and celebrating my favorite holiday, Halloween—plus, I have a big love for tacos!
