Communications Officer

About Nicole

I serve as Communications Director for the Central Michigan University Doctor of Health Administration Alumni Association, director of a mental health nonprofit in Lansing, Michigan and as Adjunct Faculty at Touro University Graduate School of Social Work, MSW Global Online Program. My research interests include social capital measurement, composite indicator methodology, construct validity in population health indices, and culturally competent care delivery for diverse populations.

Clinically, I specialize in trauma resolution, including betrayal trauma, abuse, and PTSD. My therapeutic approach integrates EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing, to support healing and resilience. I also incorporate Polyvagal Yoga and shame resilience work to offer clients a comprehensive, body-based path to recovery.

As a licensed clinical supervisor in Michigan, I provide oversight for LMSW professionals and CAADC candidates, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of ethical practice.
