Alton J. Knight, Jr. is a recent Alum of the DHA program (Cohort 2022). He also holds a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Indiana University Kokomo.

Alton has been a Registered Nurse for 13 years, primarily in Level 1 Trauma Emergency Departments. He holds certifications in Emergency Nursing and Trauma Nursing, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. While maintaining his clinical practice, Alton assumed his first hospital leadership position in 2018. Currently, Alton works as a Director of Clinical Operations, leading multidisciplinary teams in Emergency Services and Critical Care. Alton has a career goal of becoming a CEO, then consulting in hospital operations later in his career.
