ASN Community,
The DHA program is pleased to share that DHA 700: Leadership Strategies for Healthcare Policy and Organizations has undergone a curriculum update designed to enhance the connection between theory, research, and real-world leadership practice. The Cohort 2025 students are the first group to experience the updated course.
As part of the revised curriculum, students are now completing a Leadership Study Project, which requires each group to research and analyze a specific leadership style and submit a comprehensive paper based on their findings. This applied learning approach fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and the practical integration of leadership concepts within organizational contexts.
In alignment with their coursework, students enrolled in DHA 700 have developed and launched a survey on transformational leadership to explore perspectives among healthcare professionals, alumni, and current DHA students. The class invites members of the DHA community to participate in this brief survey to support their research and contribute to the growing understanding of leadership in healthcare administration.
This initiative reflects the program’s ongoing commitment to fostering leadership scholarship, applied research, and professional engagement across the DHA network.
