DHA 721 Healthcare Policy and Politics Seminar

Dr. Stobinski hosted the DHA 721 Healthcare Policy and Politics seminar on April 25–26, 2025, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Alexandria, Virginia. DHA 721 explores the impact of political, economic, and social forces on healthcare policy development and implementation. The seminar offered students the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions on critical issues shaping healthcare policy and political decision-making. The seminar enhanced students' understanding of the complexities of healthcare policy and encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills essential for influencing positive change within the healthcare system. Students from cohorts 2020, 2021, and 2024 were in attendance. Ms. Aquayla Scott (GA) provided support throughout the seminar.
