Dr. Lana Ivanitskya, Ph.D. Receives the 2024 Student Mentorship Award

Lana Ivanitskaya, Ph.D., has been honored with the 2024 Student Mentorship Award, acknowledging faculty members who exceed the standard expectations in student mentorship.  

In the last 20 years, Ivanitskaya has chaired the dissertation committees for 37 Doctor of Health Administration students and has taught over 200 courses. Seven of her mentees have received the Outstanding Dissertation Award from CMU. Students guided by Ivanitskaya have progressed to roles such as academic department heads, directors of doctoral programs, National Health Secretaries, and more. One of her mentees is presently the Secretary of the Department of Health and Social Affairs of the Federated States of Micronesia.
