Congratulations, Dr. Elizabeth Evans, DHA, Cohort 2015, on presenting at the Michigan Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education conference.

This week, we shared our work at HPE Connect Day, hosted by the Michigan Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education

Dr. Elizabeth Evans DHA, MSW presented a lightning talk titled: “Engaging Tribal Communities in Michigan: A Community-Led Approach to Suicide and Substance Use Prevention.”

This work highlights how community-led, participatory approaches, like PC CARES, support meaningful translation of research into practice. Rather than simply delivering information, this approach centers connection, dialogue, and local knowledge to strengthen prevention efforts.
